If you have obtained a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist which clearly states an assessment for a Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 for up to 4 sessions (a total of $395.80).

Depending on your policy, you may be eligible to claim a rebate from your health fund provider. Only one rebate may be claimed per session (i.e. only one of Medicare or Private Health rebates). Your rebate will depend on your level and type of cover, so please call your Private Health Fund for more information. Private Heath rebates must be processed through your private health insurer.

NDIS funding used for assessment is approved on a case by case basis. You will need to make sure that you have psychology as an approved service in your NDIS plan. If plan managed, notify Elyse of the details of your plan manager.
