Elyse is a psychologist with a particular interest in supporting teenagers and young people. She has been working with young people in various roles before becoming a psychologist. She is passionate about creating sessions that feel safe, engaging and genuinely tailored to each person, where clients feel heard, deeply understood and comfortable being themselves. Her approach balances evidence-based support, compassion, creativity and humour.
Elyse incorporates a range of evidence based interventions within her work, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

QUALIFICATIONS
Elyse holds a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University. Her psychology training included individual and group therapy alongside educational, cognitive and autism assessment in educational and community settings.
Before becoming a psychologist, she spent more than a decade working closely with children and young people across education, disability and community settings. As a psychologist, she has worked in clinic, educational and community environments, including roles in education and behaviour support, developmental assessment and school psychology.
